Using high-energy rare earth magnets and CPI’s patented nested coil technology, EcoMarine is able to provide liquid-cooled permanent magnet (PM) motors made in the USA which provide up to 5 times the torque and power of conventional motors of the same size and weight. These fully scalable motors are designed for harsh environments and high axial shock loads and be produced in low horsepowers for small vessels, all the way through motors producing thousands of horsepower for larger or faster vessels. They can be provided to drive anything aboard: ship-pumps, HPU’s, thrusters, compressors, or specialized equipment. They have been tested and proven in the offshore oil industry for years. They can also be provided in our system as space-saving propulsion or ship service generators.
